Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy. This means to say this day was created for all Black sons and daughters to keep it Holy. This day is for everyone to keep it. No money spending on this day, from 6p.m. Friday evening to 6p.m. Saturday evening, the day must be kept holy. No work is to be done on this day, this is just a day of service. It is a bless day for everyone to keep it Holy.

You must keep this day Holy, ones have to provide your meal from Friday, so as to have everything ready on this day, Saturday the seventh day. You fast from Friday midnight until Saturday mid-day then you would eat your meal. This is for the House of we di children of di most high, Jah Rastafari.

Blessings brethren, InI respect the I reasoning, one thing InI can say is that it is not practical for many the keeping of the sabbath in the way you mentioned, also, there are various opinions about what the Sabbath is and if it really should be practiced or not, various reasonings which InI think are valid also.
For InI everyday is sacred, everyday is Holy, because we are alive, and that is the greatest blessing, so giving thanks for life, whatever activity we have to do, InI do it with love and light.
Families with children, with jobs on the saturday, and other activities, cannot practice a day as such. This does not mean that we are less holy than others who practice it.
Always celebrating Life and giving thanks to the Almighty I and the ancestors for the new day.

Give thanks Sister Amlak for di I response. InI agree wit di I. Everyday is sacred, everyday is Holy. So giving thanks I-tinually and daily is di best way for I-preciating life and all Jah blessings. Wanted to post di reasoning to get feedback as well as to have ones and ones to start to look within demself to challenge demself to live up to higher heights on a more spiritual livity. If we as people nah rise up and seek higher heights, we will I-tinue to get di same outcome dat we have been receiving. INi should strive to keep every day holy. I agree that ones should find a day to meditate and stay away from the world. To I, keeping the sabbath help I to look into self and see where I can improve. It is very difficult in this time and it can be argue what day to keep the sabbath, but what is really important is the development of the higher self. INI must give thanks for life every morning and thank JAH for another day. INI must take time before going to bed to review our day and see if we live a upful life.

Okay, on to the reasoning. Its been long time since I reasoned online, but feeling the need to do so, give thanks.
I&I look at the microcosm sometimes. I have found that every atom seeks to be at an equilibrium state of rest, it is our will that motivates us, that drives us forward to do works, provide a living and so forth. If you look at most larger mammels, them rest all day....LOL. Of course we should look at everyday sacred, but it is within the human experience to naturally take things for granted that happen on a mundane level and therefore many times we have to remind ourselves of the sacredness and beauty as we do get "caught up". This is the daily act of humbling oneself. However, in the Ible it states that the Sabbath was not made for Jah, but for man. So its not "offending" Jah if one does not keep the Sabbath. What its essentially doing if we do not keep the Sabbath, we are robbing ourselves of the cyclical bio-rhythms that keep us balanced and healthy and focused. I&I lived in New york, and there is a section in Queens where the banks are open on Sunday, because the whole section are Sabbath observers. WE can create those type of vibes as well. And then the Sabbath would be practical to I&I livity. I do realize that sometimes the Sabbath is the most crucial day for our businesses and to earn income. So its not a judgement thing, its more for the spiritual empowerment of self and the community.

Rastafari Greetings give thanks for the reasoning. For InI every day is a hola day, but at the same time InI keep the sabbeth pure and true from 6pm until 6pm. InI take this time to keep away from the outside world meditate and reflect on InI and changes InI have to make as a one. so this includes no talking on the phone etc. InI read every day but InI also take this time to take in more knowledge. so InI can do a reasoning on this an pass on knowledge to a one.
